Introduction

The Lakelands self catering apartments are situated in a unique position overlooking the town of Ambleside, offering well-equiped accommodation and views of the town and the fells beyond.

All the apartments are furnished and equipped to a good standard and all have either a patio or balcony with garden furniture. Each apartment has one private parking space.

There is a leisure centre on site which includes a swimming pool, children’s pool and a spa pool. The view from the leisure complex is spectacular!

Its unique position overlooking Ambleside in the English Lake District combines unspoilt views of the surrounding Lakeland countryside and is very close to an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and friendly inns.

Popular with tourists and walkers alike the town centre bristles with activity. There are retail outlets offering outdoor equipment on just about every street corner whilst, for the less energetic visitors, cafés and restaurants are in abundance too.

Directions

Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and follow the signs to Windermere. Then carry on the A591 to Ambleside. Just before Ambleside, opposite the Hayes Garden Centre, take the first right into Old Lake Road. Travel along into Low Gale then Lower Gale and the Lakelands is on your left.
