Introduction

The Alto Club is a stunning resort in Portugal with a variety of facilities for guests to enjoy.

Located on the Algarve’s western coast between Portimao and Lagos, lies picturesque Alvor, once the Algarve’s capital and now home to The Alto Club.

This is a premier resort situated within sub tropical, landscaped gardens and 700m from the sandy beach and offering spacious and well-equipped apartments.

Nearby is the 18 hole Alto Golf Club, a par 72 golf course, designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton which provides low handicap players with a testing game and yet plenty of enjoyment for players at average club level.

Our apartments offer everything you will need for a truly splendid holiday and there are lots of facilities available for our guests. The kitchens are fully equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine.

There is a large balcony with table and chairs overlooking the stunning gardens. In the sitting room you will find very comfortable furnishings, satellite TV, a DVD and CD player.

Directions:

BY AIR: Nearest airport Faro – 77kms

BY ROAD: Take the A22 from Faro in the Direction of Portimão. Turn off the A22 just after Portimão at junction 4 following the signs for Alvor. Pass through the village of Montes de Alvor which has a small airport on the right. Keep going until you reach Alvor. Pass the camp site on the left, going left at the first roundabout.

When you reach a second roundabout, turn left and go up the hill. Take first right and right again to Alto Club which is surrounded by a white wall with yellow stripes. Note, Alto Club is situated on the opening adjacent to the turn off for hospital – DO NOT FOLLOW THE GREEN SIGNS OR GOOGLE MAPS AS THESE WILL TAKE YOU TO THE GOLF CLUB.
