The Committee of Monte Carvoeiro would like to draw owners’ attention to a piece which was aired on the 10th January 2024 edition of The One Show relating to the activities of a company, EPC plc, which purports to collect unpaid road tolls on behalf of the Portuguese authorities. The Committee urge owners who are interested to watch the piece, which commences at 12 minutes 19 seconds into the show and is currently available to watch on the BBC iPlayer.
Members should exercise caution in dealing with any requests for payment which they do not believe to be legitimate.
